Transfer to us
We are continually transferring approved foster carers to our service, thanks to the additional benefits we offer.
We will prioritise your assessment and work to make the transition as seamless as possible.
Carers that transfer to us do so for the following reasons:
- We always look to place Plymouth children with our foster carers first
- We place children aged 0-18, so offer a very wide matching range
- We don’t make a profit from fostering – our key focus is supporting our children and young people
- Support and training is local
- Our foster service has a real ‘family’ feel
- Local carer support groups
- Our competitive allowances (up to £811 per week per child), plus additional payments and expenses

If you are thinking of transferring, you can be sure that any conversations you have with us will be strictly confidential. Your agency will not be informed until you are 100% happy to transfer.
